What a cookie actually is
A cookie is a small text file or browser-storage entry that helps a website remember things, such as a secure sign-in or language choice.
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. QuestSetu also uses related browser technologies such as local storage and session storage; this policy calls all of them “cookies” for simplicity.

The types we use
Essential storage supports sign-in and security. Preference and limited analytics storage support choices and service improvement.
Authentication, session security, fraud prevention and core service state. Blocking these can stop sign-in or account features.
Language, reading mode, accessibility and onboarding choices stored on the device.
Limited, aggregated product measurements used to understand performance and improve features.
Short-lived state that helps complete support, checkout and return-to-site journeys safely.
How long they last
- ⏱️Session storage generally ends when the tab or browser session closes.
- 📅Persistent storage lasts until its configured expiry or until the browser or user clears it.
- 🧹Clearing storage can sign you out and reset preferences, but it does not itself delete account data kept by QuestSetu.
Children and tracking
No advertising cookies, ad-network pixels or cross-site behavioural profiles are used on child profiles.
- 🚫No advertising, retargeting or social-media tracking pixels on child-only pages.
- 👶Child-profile data is handled under the controls described in our Privacy Policy.
- 📈Learning progress is used to provide the child’s learning experience and adult-facing progress information.
- 👨👩👧Parents and authorised educators control the child profile and its permissions.
Service providers we rely on
Firebase supports account and data services; Cashfree supports payment checkout; infrastructure providers help deliver and protect the site.
Authentication, database, storage and application infrastructure used to operate QuestSetu.
Hosted checkout, payment authorisation and fraud controls on billing journeys. QuestSetu does not store card numbers or UPI PINs.
Infrastructure may use essential technical identifiers for traffic delivery, reliability and attack prevention.
Service providers must process information for the service they provide and under their applicable agreements and privacy terms. For the current processor information, email support@questsetu.com.
Changing your choices
Use browser controls to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential storage can sign you out or stop secure account features.
Every major browser can block or delete storage for one site. Blocking all cookies can prevent secure sign-in and checkout return flows.
Where a QuestSetu preference is tied to the account rather than the device, update it in the relevant account or profile settings.
- 🧹Clearing cookies resets device preferences but does not submit an account-deletion request.
- 🔑You may need to sign in again after deleting authentication storage.
